Who we are

Upendo Honey is the trading name of Third Man Ltd, a private company limited by shares registered in Tanzania under company number 140076. We process and export honey from Plot 309, Kigoma Special Economic Zone, Kigoma, Tanzania. Third Man Ltd is the data controller for this website. For anything relating to your data, write to info@upendoagri.com.

What we collect

We do not collect information through forms, accounts, analytics or advertising trackers. If you open the page containing our embedded Google map, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, the page that referred you, and information about your interaction with the map. If you decide to email one of the addresses on this site, we then hold whatever you chose to put in that message — usually your name, your email address and your enquiry — for the simple reason that you sent it to us.

Why

To answer your enquiry, and to follow up about it. That is the only purpose. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

How it reaches us

Every contact link on this site is an ordinary “mailto” link. Clicking one opens your own email program with our address already filled in — nothing is submitted through this website, and nothing is stored on it. Your message travels from your mail provider to ours the same way any other email does, and then lives in our mailbox for as long as the enquiry is relevant.

Cookies

Upendo Honey does not set cookies or use local storage. Google may set or read cookies, or use similar technologies, when its embedded map loads. We do not control those technologies or Google's choices about them.

Third parties

The homepage and beekeepers page embed a Google My Maps map from Google. Loading either map sends a request to Google and may allow Google to collect technical information, use cookies or similar technologies, and process data under its own policies. Read Google's Privacy Policy for more information. Our fonts, photographs and other page content are served from this domain. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep an ordinary record of who we have dealt with, and no longer. Ask us to delete your correspondence and we will, unless we are required to keep it for accounting or customs purposes.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EU, you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will do it. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.
